The following best practices apply to all device types.
Network connection preferences
Hard-wired Ethernet is best.
Secured Wi-Fi connection.
Use of Velcro Double-Stick Tape
Place velcro on the side of the device that has the logo. This allows vents to point outward for better ventilation and the sticker containing the serial number to be easily accessible.
Media Player Remote Control
Do not use remote to put the media player to sleep. MustHaveMenus recommends leaving the device on so it can receive updates.
It is fine to turn the display screen or monitor off when an establishment is closed.
Device Power
Use the power adapter that comes with the media player. Powering the device by any other means will void the warranty. Read about Warranty Information for Display hardware.
