Power adapter
HDMI cable
Double-sided velcro
What you need:
Display monitor with an HDMI port
Internet connection (WiFi or Ethernet)
Ethernet cable (if connecting via Ethernet)
Device Setup
Begin with the display screen turned ON.
Insert the 2 AAA batteries into the remote.
Connect HDMI cable to the media player.
Connect the device to the display using the HDMI cable.
Connect the power cable to the media player
Plug the device in to power using the power adapter.
For P3/SKP3 devices, a blue light will indicate that the device has been powered on.
For all other models, the device will display "boot" in blue to indicate it is on, and then default to show the time.
When both the display screen and the media player are turned on, the first screen to show is a countdown, followed by the Device Setup screen.
Connect a Media Player to the Internet
On the Device Setup screen, use the remote to select the Edit WiFi button, and press OK on the remote.
Using the remote, select a Wifi network, and press OK on the remote.
Enter the password into the field using the remote, then select Done in the bottom right to hide the keyboard, and then select Add.
The device will check for a valid connection.
Once the network is connected, a green checkmark will appear next to Network Connected, with the name of the Wifi network listed below.
If using Ethernet, simply plug an Ethernet cable into the back of the media player.
Ethernet cables are not provided by MustHaveMenus.
Device Startup
After connecting to the internet, the media player will confirm the latest versions and perform updates as necessary.
Once the latest versions are confirmed, four items will show on screen, all with green checkmarks (Network Connected, Skykit Control is up to date, Skykit Home is up to date, Skykit Player is up to date).
The device will then display a countdown screen, followed by a loading screen.
Device Pairing Code
The media player will then display a screen with a Pairing Code.
The Pairing Code will need to be entered into the Display app Configuration Screen.
