Create a Custom Text Icon
From within the design editor, select an item within a Menu Group, and from the text editing window, select +Icon.
Select Open icon library.
The Icon Library will appear.
Beneath Custom Text, click +New.
A text entry field will appear.
Enter the Custom Text and hit enter/return.
GFA for "Gluten Free Available" was added for this example.
Click the text to apply the icon to the item.
The icon will be applied to the item, and seen beneath This Item.
Click the X to close the Icon Library.
The Custom Text Icon will be applied to the menu item.
Edit a Custom Text Icon
To edit a Custom Text Icon, select the menu item with the Custom Text Icon, and select +Icon.
Select Open icon library.
The Icon Library will appear.
Beneath Custom Text, on the Custom Text Icon, select the Pencil icon to the left of the text.
The text entry field will appear.
Make the desired edit(s), and hit enter/return.
In this example, GFA for "Gluten Free Available" was edited to show as GFO for "Gluten Free Option".
The Custom Text Icon will update, and all instances of the icon will reflect the change.
Select the X in the upper right to close the Icon Library.
Style Custom Text Icons
To change the styling of Custom Text Icons, within Format > Style, scroll down to Icons.
Use the formatting options to set the desired styling.

Add a Custom Text Icon to a Menu Item
After the initial creation of a Custom Text Icon, add the icon to another item by selecting the desired item, and selecting +Icon from the text editing window.
The Custom Text Icon will show within Used on Menu.
Click to apply.
The Custom Text Icon will be applied to the menu item.
Remove a Custom Text Icon
To remove a Custom Text Icon, select the menu item with the icon, and from the text editing window select the X in the upper right of the icon.
The Custom Text Icon will be removed.
