Adding DiningRD Data to a Design

Updated over a week ago

While MustHaveMenus has created a collection of templates set up for use with DiningRD data, any design can be linked for bulk replacement.

Add DiningRD Data to a Design

From within the design editor, on any design, select a Menu Group to see if it has been set up for the bulk replacement feature.

A template that has not been linked will display a grayed out DiningRD icon, and the label will say "No DRD Data Linked".

To add DiningRD data, select the DiningRD icon from the left.

Use the dropdown to select the desired Menu.

Use the dropdown to select the desired Week.

Determine which sections to include by selecting the dropdown and deselecting items to exclude.

For this design, selecting Meal Name will include the header of "Breakfast", "Lunch", or "Dinner", so it has been checked.

When all selections have been made, DiningRD data will show.

Click to select the desired data from the left.

This will cause all of the menu text boxes on the design to highlight with a click to replace option.

Click into the desired space, and the DiningRD data will populate on the design.

Repeat the process of selecting data sections from the left and clicking onto the desired space on the design.

Format the menu as desired.

In this example, columns were added by going to Format from the left, and then selecting Layout.

Selecting a Menu Group will now show that DiningRD data has been linked.

Once a design has been linked with DiningRD data, the option to Update/Replace will become visible.
