Tasting Menu Marketing
What better way to offer your customers a way to sample all your chef's specialties than a tasting menu? Several small portions of your most exciting dishes combine to form a single meal, usually served in five to seven courses and often including carefully selected wine pairings.
Tasting menus don't always have to be about chef's specialties—many restaurants offer a tasting menu that highlights regional cuisine, local and seasonal ingredients, or a specific theme, like vegetarian or offal. Lately, some tasting menus have gotten a bad rap because of overblown, costly ingredients, small portion sizes and pretentious presentations. But when done right, a tasting menu is a great way for your chef to lead your guests along a culinary journey and make them feel pampered.
A take-home tasting menu makes an excellent souvenir for your guests, especially if it has been signed by the chef. See more Tasting Menus.
