1. Choose Your Design

Browse 2500 Designs — There are many ways to find a great menu:

Click on the menu to learn more about it: what size paper to print on and whether it is part of a design collection (offering more page options). If you like the menu, click the button to Edit.

What To Consider — When choosing a design that's right for you, think about these factors:

  • What is your restaurant's theme — formal, casual, urban, retro? Choose a design that matches your eatery's style.
  • Browse beyond your category. You might find your ideal design in Pizza, Thai, or Deli.
  • What size paper do you want to print on? Our templates are designed for letter, legal, or tabloid.
  • How many pages will you need? Our Design Sets offer multiple pages with the same design, plus a cover, drink menus, table tents and more.
  • Does the template layout work for your content? Columns and specials boxes are built-in.
  • You can customize font colors, but the main background or graphics are pre-designed in a specific color scheme.

2. Make Your Menu

How It Works

In the menu editor, you simply replace the text in the menu with your own.

  • Section-by-section editing view
  • Create as many items as you need
  • Build multi-page menus
  • Use your restaurant logo
  • Customize font size & color
  • Adjust spacing to fit

Helpful Tips:

  • Upload your logo images as jpg, png, or gif. If you have trouble, contact us and we'll be glad to assist!
  • Clear Section gives you a clean slate to enter your content.
  • Added sections will duplicate the section you are currently viewing. If you need another section formatted like Soups, click on Soups, then click Add Section. The new section will appear below Soups.
  • Deleted sections cannot be restored, so wait until you have built your menu and then delete unused sections. Never delete all sample sections in a single column or you will not be able to enter any content in that particular column.



  • Content does not currently autofit or flow to the next column. If you enter too many items, they will flow off the edge of the text area. To remedy, try moving some items to another section/column, reducing spacing or font sizes, or shortening wordy descriptions.
  • Add Pages gives you the option to duplicate the current design, or choose pages from the menu's design collection(s). For example, this French Menu allows you to choose 3 more pages in legal size, or other page sizes from the full design set.

3. Manage Your Menu

Save — When you are logged in as a member, each update will be saved to your account. Your menus are stored online to update, print, & publish at your convenience.

Download — From the Editor, click Download to export a PDF of your menu. A PDF is a high-resolution printer-ready file. To view it, your browser must have a PDF viewer program installed, such as Adobe Reader or Foxit (both free to download). The file will open in a new browser tab or window. If you want to email the menu or post it to your website, save the PDF to your computer desktop. If you need a jpg of your file for web use, you can convert the PDF file easily using Adobe Acrobat (or contact us for assistance).

Print — To print on a home printer, simply click Print directly from the PDF window. Or send your PDF file to a local printer. We recommend professional printing for best-quality paper, margins, and color fidelity.

Publish — Your saved menus are stored in
My Menus. With one-click, share your menus & flyers on Facebook, and sync your updates so customers always see your current offerings. Learn more about Facebook Publishing.
